The Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao starrer ‘Stree 2’ has become the latest blockbuster to join the ₹300 crore club, amassing a whopping ₹360.90 crore at the domestic box office.
The horror-comedy sequel achieved this feat by hitting a triple century on its eighth day, matching the pace of ‘Gadar 2’, another recent hit. The film’s impressive opening week is marked by a strong start with a day one collection of ₹55.40 crore, outperforming other recent hits like ‘Pathaan’ (₹55 crore) and ‘Animal’ (₹54.75 crore).
This places the Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Stree 2’ among the top openers at the Indian box office, just behind ‘Jawan’, which made ₹65.50 crore on its first day.
‘Stree 2‘ now ranks alongside other Bollywood giants in the ₹300 crore club. ‘Jawan’ achieved this milestone in just six days, followed by ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Animal’ in seven days. ‘Baahubali 2’ took ten days, while ‘KGF 2’ reached it in eleven.
As ‘Stree 2’ continues its run, the big question is whether it can surpass The All-time record and possibly challenge the all-time highs set by films like ‘Pathan,’ ‘Jawan,’ ‘Gadar,’ and ‘Baahubali 2.’
