The BARC TRP Ratings for Week 52 are out, and this is the last week of the year 2024. This week, viewers were captivated by a mix of family dramas, reality shows, and iconic favourites. CID 2 made an impressive debut, earning a spot in the top 20.
Top 10 Shows: Udne Ki Aasha to Shiv Shakti Tap Tyaag Tandav
At the top of the chart is Udne Ki Aasha, holding firm with an excellent TVR of 2.6. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai follows in second place, securing a TVR of 2.3, alongside Advocate Anjali Awasthi and Anupamaa, which rank third and fourth, respectively, due to marginal differences. Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin takes the fifth position with a TVR of 2.1, while comedy staple Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma is sixth with a TVR of 1.9. Jhanak and Mangal Lakshmi are in seventh and eighth positions, both with a TVR of 1.8 but differentiated by subtle ranking factors. Parineeti, with a TVR of 1.6, claims the ninth spot, while Shiv Shakti Tap Tyaag Tandav wraps up the top 10 with a TVR of 1.5.
Shows Ranked 11 to 20: Maati Se Bandhi Dor to Vasudha
Maati Se Bandhi Dor, ranked 11th with a TVR of 1.4, followed closely by the reality show Bigg Boss 18, also at 1.4 but ranked 12th. The debut of CID 2 is noteworthy, as it takes the 16th spot with a strong opening TVR of 1.3. Other popular shows, such as Megha Barsenge, Durga, and Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha, occupy ranks 13 to 15 with identical TVRs of 1.3, separated by marginal ranking criteria. Bhagya Lakshmi takes the 21st spot with a TVR of 1.2, followed by shows like Jagriti-Ek Nayi Subah, Suman Indori, and Wagle Ki Duniya, all tied at 1 TVR but ranked 22nd to 24th due to minor variations. Indian Idol stands at 25th with a TVR of 1. The nostalgic charm of Tenali Rama and Shrimad Ramayan places them at ranks 26 and 27, both earning a TVR of 0.9. Wrapping up the list are Pushpa Impossible on the 28th, Jamai No 1 on the 29th, and Deewaniyat on the 30th, with TVRs of 0.8, 0.8, and 0.7, respectively.
