During her appearance on the news channel, Sharma stated: “First of all, whatever happened was bad, it should not have happened. If there was truth in him, you can see his frustration in the video. He made a 1-hour 20-minute video and wrote a 24-page note, that shows the level of his frustration. He was so frustrated with his family. Why didn’t he talk about this? Why didn’t he share with them? He is talking about money and money. He should have spent some money on a psychiatrist and psychologist so this would not have happened.”

Atul’s father, Pawan Modi, alleged that Atul’s in-laws subjected him to immense pressure, which ultimately drove him to take his own life.
