Given the rising crime rates she had heard about, combined with a previous traumatic incident in Bandra, Mumbai, Raveena instinctively panicked. Her first reaction was to say no and walk away quickly. In her post, she explained that while she usually obliges her fans for photos, this time, being alone made her feel vulnerable and uneasy.

She felt bad for turning them away and extended an apology to them through her message, hoping they would understand her situation.
