In a stunning revelation that’s got everyone talking, actress Adah Sharma, famous for her blockbuster The Kerala Story, recently spilled the beans on why she chose to rent the Bandra apartment once occupied by the late Sushant Singh Rajput. But hold on, it’s not what you think!
At a press conference on Monday, Adah shared some jaw-dropping details about her living situation. Despite her film The Kerala Story raking in a whopping Rs 300 crore, the actress revealed that she is still living on rent! And the reason? Well, it’s not just about the money.
Adah, who is currently working with renowned director Vikram Bhatt, revealed, “The house I’ve rented is not mine. The Rs 300 crore from The Kerala Story is not mine, so I’m living on rent. It’s not just me contributing to the rent; my grandmother also helps with it. She said, since I’m living there too, I should contribute to the rent.” Yes, you read that right! Adah’s grandmother pitches in for the rent too.
And here’s another shocker: The house doesn’t even belong to Sushant! Adah clarified that the apartment actually belongs to a Mr. Lalwani, who is currently in South Africa. “I believe Sushant also lived there on rent; it wasn’t his property either, but the house belongs to Mr. Lalwani,” she explained.
So why did she choose this particular apartment? Adah revealed, “I have lived in the same house at Pali Hill all my life, and this is the first time I’ve moved out of there. I’m very sensitive to vibes, and this place gives me positive ones.” Apparently, it’s all about the vibes!
But that’s not all Adah had to share. The actress is gearing up for her next big project—Tumko Meri Kasam, a biopic about Dr. Ajay Murdia, the founder of Indira IVF. Adah is set to play the role of Indira, the supportive wife, in what promises to be an emotional rollercoaster of a film.
With so much going on in her life, it’s no wonder Adah Sharma is the talk of the town. And now, you know the real reason behind her living arrangements.
