What Vikas Khanna asked Left Tejasswi Prakash Stunned
As the elimination challenge unfolded, Vikas Khanna approached Tejasswi Prakash while she was preparing her dish. In a playful yet suspenseful manner, he asked, “Tejasswi, are your parents expecting you to be the first celebrity chef to eliminate?” However, he deliberately paused before saying “eliminate” to heighten the suspense.
A visibly shocked Tejasswi quickly responded, “No! They are expecting me to win.”
Tejasswi’s Dish Disappoints the Judges
Despite her confidence, Tejasswi’s dish failed to impress the judges. While presenting her dish, the judges found it lacking in flavour and execution. They advised her to hope that someone else’s dish turned out worse than hers, increasing the tension of the moment.
Dipika Kakar, who was listening closely, was taken aback by the feedback. She expressed concern, stating that she knows Tejasswi’s potential and wouldn’t want her to be eliminated.
Chandan Prabhakar’s Dish Falls Short
Meanwhile, Chandan Prabhakar also faced harsh criticism for his dish. Farah Khan went as far as calling it worse than Tejasswi’s, giving her a glimmer of hope.
As the elimination moment approached, Tejasswi and Chandan found themselves in the bottom two, fighting for their place in the competition. The black apron challenge was intense, but ultimately, Chandan was eliminated, and Tejasswi was saved, just by a thin margin, as Ranveer Brar pointed out.
Nikki Tamboli Shines as ‘Dish of the Day’ Winner
While Tejasswi barely escaped elimination, Nikki Tamboli emerged victorious, winning the coveted ‘Dish of the Day’ title with her exceptional cooking skills.

Learning from this close call, Tejasswi reflected on the experience and quoted, “Doodh ka jala chhaach ko bhi phook phook ke peeta hai.” She vowed to never land in the black apron zone again.
